This is one of the first videos taken in 2005 at the very beginning of the high schools reform.
This is a video from one of our Engish teachers about a year later as we were implementing many of the initiatives (Project Based Learning, Rigor/Relavence/Relationship Model, Block schedule, technology infusion)
A link to a recent article in Edutopia magazine that names us a "Cool School" and discusses our reform efforts.
A link to our bell schedule. We stick to Red/White days that alternate. Every class runs all year and meets every other day. The Bulldog day which is our traditional 8 period day is now never used. The 2 hour snow delay still allows for 60 minute classes which makes those days more productive. The third block of each day is lunch and some classes go 42 minutes-lunch-42 minutes.
Here are two powerpoint presentations that were done at conferences over the last couple of years. They summarize in some detail the background and process of our reform.
To our friends at South Park High School
